EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy III Euergetes, (246-222 BC), bronze drachm (69.93g), Alexandria mint, obv, diademed and horned head of Zeus-Ammon right, rev. eagle standing left in thunderbolt, wings closed, **PC* monogram between legs, filleted cornucopiae in left field (CPE B395; SNG Cop 171-2; Svoronos 964). Very fine.
