EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy XII Neos Dionysus (Auletes), second reign, (55-51 BC), silver tetradrachm (13.83g), Alexandria mint, dated RY 28 (54/3 BC), obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I right, aegis around neck, rev. eagle standing right on thunderbolt, wings closed and palm branch behind, LKH above headress in left field and **PA* in right, **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOY* around (Svoronos 1837; SNG Cop 395). Minor scattered porosity, pleasant cabinet tone, good very fine.
