Q. CAECILIUS METELLUS, (130 BC), silver denarius (3.68g), obv. helmeted head of Roma right, XVI monogram below chin, Q ME TE to left, rev. Jupiter is slow triumphal quadriga right, holding branch and thunderbolt, ROMA in exergue (S.132; RRC 256/1; CRR 509). Toned, very fine.
