GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), silver denarius, uncertain mint in Gaul (Narbo?), issued c.April - late Autumn A.D. 68, (3.60 g), obv. laureate head of Galba to left, around SER GALBA IMPERATOR, rev. around CONCORDIA PROVINCIARVM, Concordia draped, standing to left, holding branch and cornucopiae, (cf.S.2100, RIC 108 corr, RSC 35, BMC 222, BN 55 [same dies]). Impressive old cabinet toning, nearly extremely fine with a strong portrait, very rare.
