DOMITIAN, as Caesar, (A.D. 69-81), silver denarius (3.01g), Rome mint, struck under Vespasian in 79 AD, obv. laureate head right, CEASAR AVG F DOMITIA[NVS COS VI], rev. Vesta seated left, holding palladium and scepter, PRIN[CEPS IV]VENTVTIS (S.2641; RIC II 244; RSC 378). Cleaned, hairlines across face, small flan flaw on obverse, very fine.
