NERVA, (A.D. 96-98), copper As (11.41g), Rome mint, issued 97 AD, obv. laureate head of Nerva facing right, IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P II COS III PP around, rev. Libertas standing left holding pileus and sceptre, LIBERTAS PVBLICA around, SC across fields (RIC II 86; c.f. S.3064). Very minor pitting, traces of verdigris in devices, very fine.
