Mars, naked except for helmet and cloak around waist, advancing rihgt, holding spear in right hand and trophy over left shoulder, SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI. Hoard adhesions, otherwise extremely fine. $$ Ex R. Pankhurst Collection, vendor advises was from a hoard found in South Germany.
