HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE or orichalcum sestertius (27.41g), Rome mint, issued 118 AD, obv. laureate bust right with light drapery on far shoulder, IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG, rev. Roma seated right, on cuirass and shield, clasping hands with Hadrian standing facing left, S C across field, ADVENTVS AVG in exergue, PONT MAX TR POT COS III around (S.3571; RIC II 158; BMCRE 1120). Green patina, well centred, nearly very fine.
