MARCUS AURELIUS, as Caesar, (A.D. 153-154), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.38 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG P II FIL, rev. around TR POT VIII COS II, Minerva standing left, holding owl, shield and spear, (S.4791, RIC 459a, RSC 663). Some edge splits and hoard patination, otherwise extremely fine.
