MARCUS AURELIUS, as Caesar (A.D. 139-161), orichalcum sestertius (26.66g), Rome mint, issued 151-2 AD, obv. bare head facing right, AURELIVS CAESAR AN TONINI AVG [FIL], rev. Honos togate, facing, head right with branch and cornucopiae, HONOS across field, S C below, [TR POT III COS II] (c.f. S.4803, RIC III 1303). Even dark olive-green to chocolate brown patina, very light pitting, old scrape across obverse, good fine/ fine.
