PESCENNIUS NIGER, (A.D. 193-194), silver denarius, Antioch Mint, issued A.D. 193-194, (2.57 g), obv. laureate head of Pescennius Niger to right, around IMP CAES C PESCE NIGER IVST AVG, rev. around FORTVNAE REDV, Fortuna seated left, holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.6107, RIC 23, RSC 23). Toned, nearly extremely fine and very rare. Better silver quality as usual.
