SEVERUS ALEXANDER, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 223, Antioch mint, (3.02 g), obv. laureate bust to right, draped and cuirassed, around IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, rev. LIBERALITAS AVG, Liberalitas standing left with abacus and cornucopiae, (S.7875, RIC 281, RSC 108b). As struck good extremely fine, lightly toned, with brilliant fields, rare as such.
