GORDIAN III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianus (4.13g), obv. radiate and draped bust facing right, IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG around, rev. Liberalitis standing left, holding abacus and cornucopiae, LIBERALITIS AVG III around (S.8619; RIV IV 36; RSC 130). Centrally struck, slightly worn reverse die, toned, extremely fine.
