PROVIDENTIA AVG, with Providentia standing left holding a globe and transverse sceptre, (S.8655, RIC 4, RSC 302); another, (3.86 g), rev. Apollo seated to left, holding branch with branch and lyre, around P M TR P IIII COS II P P, (S.8645, RIC 114, C.238); another, (2.41 g), rev. Gordian in military dress, standing right with spear and globe, around PM TR P III COS II PP, (cf.S.8646, RIC 115). Toning, good fine - nearly extremely fine. (4)
