BASIL II AND CONSTANTINE VIII, period of 976 - 1028, copper follis', anonymous class A2, (16.36g) obv. nimbate facing bust of Christ, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels, two pellets in nimbus IC XC across field, rev. four-line legend (Jesus Christ King of Kings) in latin, dotted circle and pelleted cross above and below legend (S.1813 ;DOC III-2 A2); anonymous class A3, (10.47g), similar to previous (S.1818). Fine. (2)
