NUGGET BAR BROOCH, c1890, in gold (18ct; 6.50g; 52x15mm), by VEN (V.E.Nesbit), features a double bar with decoration and in the centre is fitted a small gold nugget, pin-back. Very fine.
Australian Jewellers, p97, Jack Grace stated in his book that this item was very rare and appears to be one of two existing. Also see Australian Jewellers Makers & Marks, p175, fig2.
