GOLDFIELD'S BROOCH, c1900, in gold (tested as 15ct; 5.02g; 41x18mm), attributed to David L.Lyall, features a crossed miner's pick and shovel with a rope wrapped nugget in the centre and a small nugget on the spade blade, pin-back with safety chain, in case of Lyall's Ltd, Jewellers at Charters Towers. Nearly extremely fine.
