BROOCH, c1880, appears to be ivory or mother-of-pearl with fittings tested as not gold, size (47mm) plus suspended cross (17x28mm), by (J.M.) Wendt, features a crescent decorated with gilt bands and a shield inscribed, "RJW", on the crescent is a star and in the centre is a claw set garnet, suspended on a chain below the crescent is a cross also of the same material, pin-back with safety chain, in a J.M.Wendt case. Very fine.
