MOTHER OF PEARL BROOCH, c1915, in gold frame (tested as 15ct; tot wt 21.45g; 66x59mm), by JMW (J.M.Wendt), features a floral decorated bent mother of pearl shell with a gold knob in the centre and in a leaves and grapes decorated frame, pin-back, with case of Levinson & Sons. Extremely fine.
Australian Jewellers, p131, fig2 that states this brooch was possibly retailed by Levinson & Sons in their retail business.
