MOURNING RING, c1857, in gold (tested as 15ct; 2.17g; 17mm), marked emu E.S. and kangaroo (Edward Schafer), features calligraphy on the outside on a black background and on the inside is inscribed, "My Husband Charles Rushton Obit Augst 30th 1857 Aged 31", with unofficial box. Very fine.
