AUSTRALIAN GOLD DUST, recovered from the iron holding safe of the Royal Mail Steamer "Douro", which sank in the Bay of Biscay in 1882 (approx 50 g). Very fine and unusual.

Ex Alan McRae Collection with his discriptive labels and print of the Douro, previously offered in Smalls Auctions Scientific and Historic Collectables 1/9/2019 (lot 30).
