CONVICT LOVE TOKEN, engraved on a 1797 cartwheel penny shaved smooth on both sides, on one side is engraved, "London/1811/Nathaniel/Boone/7 Years", and on the other side is engraved a clock with the single hand pointing to 4. Very good.

Nathaniel Boone, aged 19, trade unknown, sentenced to 7 years in the colonies for stealing a watch. Arrived in NSW on 12 September 1811. Nathaniel Boone eventually was the licensee of The Three Brothers hotel at Leumeah, NSW, named after his triplet sons. It is now called Hollylea House. Nathaniel and his wife, Sarah Mary, had 8 children. Nathaniel died at Campbelltown on 12 February 1839 at the age of 47. The research includes a colour photo of Nathaniel's gravestone at St Peters Anglican Church Cemetery at Campbelltown, NSW. With research.
