INDIAN MUTINY MEDAL, 1857, in white metal (63mm) (BHM 2601), by Pinches, obverse, winged figure of Justice standing left with one foot resting on a dead tiger with an Indian captive kneeling behind and a cannon hidden among the rocks, reverse with an inscription within an open wreath. Some spotty toning, otherwise very fine.
