INDIA, Madras Presidency, copper ten cash, 1808 (9) (KM.320), copper twenty cash, 1808 (KM.321), salvaged from the 1809 wreck of the Admiral Gardner, mounted to a display board. Some evidence of salt water corrosion on a few coins, otherwise very fine and better. (10)

Ex Alan McRae Collection, with his display ticket.^^The East Indiaman "Admiral Gardner" ran aground in the English Channel enroute to Calcutta in India, carrying a consignment of 10 and 20 cash coins for the EIC's trading posts. ^
