MEXICO, Philip V, silver eight reales, 1738 M.F. Mexico City mint (KM.103), salvaged from the wreck of the Hollandia. Dark toned, salt water corrosion, very fine especially for sea salvage.

Ex Alan McRae Collection with his display ticket.^^The Hollandia sank just off the Scilly Isles, whilst on her maiden voyage from Amsterdam to Java in July 1743.
