PALESTINE, Judaea, First Revolt, (66 - 70 AD), silver shekel (14.12 g), struck year 2 (67/8 AD), obv. chalice, Shekel of Isreal in paleo-Hebrew around, rev. stem with three pomegranates, Jersualem the Holy in paleo-Hebrew (S.5629, Meshorer 151, SNG ANS 421-424, HGC 10 p152). Cleaning scratches throughout, nearly very fine and rare.
