SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Augustus (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver tetradrachm (27mm, 14.83 g), Antioch Mint, dated year 30 of the Actian Era and Cos. XIII (= 2/1 B.C.), obv. **KAISAROS SEBASTOU* around, laureate head right, rev. around ETOY**S L NIKHS*, Fortuna seated right on rocky outcropping, holding palm frond; below, half-length figure of river-god Orontes swimming right; (consular date) above; in right field **IG*, monogram and I (Caesarean Era date) above monogram. (S.106 [same date and type ilustrated], McAlee 185; Prieur 55; RPC I 4156; DCA 400). Extremely fine and very rare.
