POSTUMUS, (A.D. 260-9), bronze dupondius, irregular (Mint II), 2nd phase, 1st period, issued 264-6 AD, obv. radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust facing right, IMP C M CASS LAT POSTVMUVS P F AVG, rev. two Victories standing facing each other, palm frond between, attaching shield to palm frond, two captives at base (c.f. S.11069; RIC V 230; Postume 316). Edge chipping, dark green patina, very fine and scarce.
