SICILY, Syracuse, Agathocles, (317-289 B.C.), AE 24, (10.224 grams), obv. bust of Artemis to right, quiver at shoulder, to right **SWTEIRA*, rev. winged thunderbolt, above and below **AGAQOKLEOS / BASILEWS*, dotted border, (S.1200, BMC 422, SNG ANS 718). Dark brown patina, extremely fine and rare in this condition.
