SYRIA, Kingdom of Antiochus III, (223-187 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.072 grams), Antioch mint, obv. head of Antiochus III to right with diademed, rev. Apollo seated to left, on omphalos, (Newell WSM 1116 (Pl.XXXI,15 This Coin, Pozzi Colln. No.2955 (This Coin), S.6935). Off centre on obverse and test cut on reverse, very fine and scarce.
