VITELLIUS, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued 69, Rome mint, (3.14 grams), obv. bare head to right of Vitellius, around [A VI]TELLIVS GERMANICVS IMP, rev. Concordia seated to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, around CONCORDIA P P, (S.752, BMC 1, RIC 66, RSC 21). Attractive dark patination, nearly extremely fine and very rare in this condition.
