JULIA MAMAEA, mother of Severus Alexander, (A.D.222-235), AE sestertius, Rome mint, (17.622 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Julia Mamaea, IVLIA MAMA A AVGVSTA, rev. IVNO AVGVSTAE around, S C in exergue, Juno seated to left, holding flower and child, (S.2320, RIC 683, C.33). Attractive green patina, extremely fine and very scarce in this condition.
