UMAYYAD CALIPHATE, `Abd al-Malik (A.H. 65-86) (A.D. 685-705), gold dinar no mint stated (but Baghdad mint), A.H. 78 = A.D. 697, (4.190 grams), (A.125, BMC 187). Possibly has been mounted on edge with some edge filing, otherwise very fine and rare.

The earliest date available to collectors, the year 77 is extremely rare and sells for several hundred thousand dollars.
