FRANCE, Charles VI, (1380-1422), ecu d'or of the crown, issued 11 September 1389, Rouen mint, obv. crown over shield, KAROLVS DEI GRATIA FRANCORVM REX around, rev. XPC VINCIT XPC REGNAT XPC IMPERAT, cross with lis in angles, (C. 487, L. 378A, Dup 369B). Possibly has been mounted, slightly bent, otherwise good very fine and very scarce.
