FRANCE, Francis I, (1515-1547), ecu d'or au soleil, 3rd issue, 21 July 1519, Bayonne mint, obv. crowned over arms of three lis, around FRANCISCVS D G FRANCORVM REX around, rev. XPS VINCIT XPS REGNAT XPS IMPE, cross with lis at ends, F and lis each in opposite angles, (C.1073, L. 639, Dup 775). Uneven almost serrated edge, good very fine and rare.
