BANK OF SCOTLAND, proof one pound, Edinburgh, 8 August 1872, not numbered, printed on paper, imprint of 'Perkins Bacon & Co London' above bottom border left hand side, date added, June 3rd 1872 handwritten in pencil (D.57). Light gum mount marks on each corner at back of note, otherwise nearly uncirculated.
