RESERVE BANK, two dollars, sixth issue 1968-1975, D.L. Wilks, star note, letter letter number 0A1 018657*, (P.164b/S2, Robb 3.2.Wii). Nearly uncirculated and rare.
The lot is accompanied with a letter from the Wanganui Savings bank dated Jan 16, 1971 indicating the note being found in a treasury bundle with notes OY1 311773 and OY1 311775 each side of this note and indicating it to be a replacement note. A most interesting piece of contemporary documentation for the early star notes of New Zealand.
