CENTENNIAL INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION, Melbourne, 1888, in silver (51mm), inscribed around edge 'The Hon George David Langridge M.L.A.' Extremely fine.

The Hon George David Langridge M.L.A., 1829-1891, represented Collingwood in the Legislative Assembly of Victoria from 1874 until his death. He was Commissioner of Public Works and Vice President of the Board of Land and Works in the third Berry Government from August 1880 to July 1881. In the Service-Berry Ministry he was Commissioner of Trade and Customs from March 1883 to February 1886. In November 1890 he accepted the post of Chief Secretary and Minister of Customs until March 1891.
