PELOPONNESOS, Achaean League, (c.160-150 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.430 grams), Sparta mint, mint mark caps of the Dioskouroi across, obv. Zeus head laureate right, rev, wreath with XA monogram within, monograms above and below, caps of the Dioskouroi on either side, (cf.S.2987, Clerk 322, BMC 80). Good very fine and rare.
