L. PHILIPPUS, (c.113-112 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.890 grams), obv. Head of Philip V of Macedon to right, wearing royal Macedonian helmet, **F* under chin, ROMA monogram above, rev. equestrian statue to right, flower below horse, base inscribed, L.PHILIPPVS, * in exergue, (S.170, Cr.293/1, Syd.551). Nearly very fine and rare.

Only 28 obverse dies used on this coinage according to Crawford.
