C. VIBIUS C.F.C.N. Pansa Caetronianus, (48 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.548 grams), obv. Liberty laureate head to right, [LIBERTAS] off flan behind, rev. Roma seated to right, on heap of Gaulish shields, crowned by Victory who flies above, C.PANSA C.F.C.N. behind, (S.423 [£175 VF], Cr.449/4, Syd.949). Dark grey patina, weak in places, otherwise nearly fine and rare.

Only 33 obverse dies were used for this type as determined by Crawford.
