SEXTUS POMPEY, (probably), (c.45 B.C.), officially cut in two, AE As, Spanish or Sicilian mint, (16.0 and 14.5 grams), obv. traces of laureate head of Janus, rev. prow to right, (cf.S.348, cf.Cr.479/1, cf.Syd.1044a, see examples in R.Martini 'Sextus Pompeius' pl.LI-LIII, see 589 for almost identical half). Poor - good and rare. (2)
