NERO CLAUDIUS DRUSUS, (Claudius's father) (died 9 B.C.), AE sestertius, (25.62 grams), obv. NERO CLAVD[IVS DRV]SVS GERMANICVS IMP, around head of Drusus to left, rev. SPES AVGVSTA, Spes draped advancing left, holding flower left, SC in exergue, (S.-, RIC -, C.-). A mule of a Drusus obverse and a Claudius reverse, possibly a British immitative issue, fine and unpublished.
