AELIUS, (Caesar A.D. 136-138), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 137, (11.308 grams), obv. bare head of Aelius to right, around L AELIVS CAESAR, rev. Spes standing to left holding flower and raising skirt, around TR POT COS [II], S C in field, (S.1216, RIC 1067, C.59). Evenly worn, dark tone, good fine/fine and rare.
