EAST INDIA COMPANY, Bengal Presidency, Murshidabad Mint, 1830 Milled issue, Perpetual 19 san sicca series in Standard Gold Currency, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), Gold mohur, Regnal Year 19 (fixed), with crescent Privy mark for the new Calcutta mint and with oblique milling to left, (Pr. 84, KM. 114). Extremely fine, rare.

The cresent appearing on the reverse of the mohur was adopted in the new Calcutta mint in 1830 and is known as the second variety, the small minute dot on the top line is not present on this example as also does the Pridmore illustrated example.
