This CBE was presented to George A. Lloyd C.B.E. (photo above of recipient). He was the founding Managing Director of Nuffield Australia Pty. Ltd at Victoria Park, Zetland, Sydney and later continued as the Managing Director of British Motor Corporation at a time when it employed 8000 people.
