SICILY, Syracuse, (c.478-472 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.230 grams), obv. slow quadriga driven to right by male charioteer, Nike flying right crowning horses, rev. **SU*R**A K OSI ON around to right, head of Artemis-Arethusa to right, diadem of beads, four dolphins around, (cf.S.914, Boehringer 251 same dies [obverse 114/reverse 171], dies not in SNG ANS). Very fine and a very rare die combination.
