THRACE, Serdica, Caracalla, (A.D. 198-217), AE 30, (16.916 grams), obv. Caracalla bust to right draped and cuirassed, around AVT K M AVP CEVN ANT**W*NEINOC, rev. Sarapis standing facing head to left, around OV**LPIA*C CEP**D*IKHC, (S.-, BMC 12 [P.172], cf.SNG Cop. 795). Attractive brown and green patina, nearly very fine and rare.
