PELOPONNESOS, Arkadia, Megalopolis, (234-146 B.C.), silver triobol or hemidrachm, (2.278 grams), obv. laureate head of Zeus to left, rev. **MEG* to right upwards, Pan naked seated left on rock holding lagobolon, eagle in field to left, **D* to left, **D* to right, (cf.S.2719, BMC 1-2 [p.188]). Golden tone, nearly extremely fine.
