IONIA, Ephesos, (c.480-450 B.C.), silver tetartemorion, (0.198 grams), obv. bee with tendrils, line bordered curved wings, dotted border, rev. traces of eagle head in crude incuse square, (S.4363, BMC -, Karwiese Series IV). Off centred, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.
